Escape the Fate, Peirce the Veil & In League

On Easter 2011 Peirce the Veil performing at Astor Theatre in Perth. Peirce the Veil performed after In League and before Escape the Fate. This was the first time i saw these guys and they were amazing. Hidden in the bacground is Robert Ortiz's drum kit waiting to be revealed for Escape the Fates performance. Vic Fuentus is on guitar and singing. On the Bass in the distance is Jaime Preciado and at the front on Guitar is Tony Perry.

This video is of the same concert pictured above. It is Pierce the Veil performing Caraphanillia.

This is a shot from the top balcony at Astor Theatre. After Pierce the Veil performed Escape the Fate took the stage. Unfortunately Max Green was not on Bass months after he departed from Escape the Fate. I was located somewhere to the right of this picture in the croud under the speaker.

Bring me the Horizon

Last time i saw these guys was just before they released "There is a Hell Believe me i've seen it, There is a Heaven lets keep it a Secret." Now after releasing "Sempiternal" Bring Me The Horizon are returning once again to Challenge Stadium on October 12th 2013 with Of Mice and Men and Crossfaith.

Escape the Fate

No they're not coming to Perth unfortunatley. I'm just really excited about their latest album.
Its awesome. Still not as good as when Ronnie was around but they definately have improved and matured.

I know there is alot of hate for Craig but i must admit i have accepted him into Escape the Fate, though the sound is different from before it is still great music. Ronnie is now making his own music with Falling in Reverse so i am happy they've both found their place.

There still seems to be tension between the two bands but it makes for great lyric material so who can complain.

Make sure to have a listen to the new album Ungrateful.

EMPIRE OF THE SUN

Taking their name from the J.G. Ballard novel that became a 1987 Steven Spielberg film, Australia's larger-than-life electro-glam-pop duo Empire of the Sun features The Sleepy Jackson's, Luke Steele and Pnau's Nick Littlemore.

In fall 2008, Empire of the Sun released their debut album Walking On A Dream, which the musicians described as "a spiritual road movie." Featuring songs co-written by Pnau's other half, Peter Mayes, the album went platinum in Australia. The Steele-led band performed live for the first time at the Parklife tour in September and October 2009, while Empire of the Sun garnered 11 ARIA award nominations including Album Of The Year and Single Of The Year.

How To Purchase Tickets

There are many different ways to purchase tickets for all these cool gigs i have been talking about and the ones i will post in the future.

#1 Go to the wedsite shown to purchase the tickets.  ie. http://www.oztix.com.au/
Most gigs i write about can be purchased from Oztix if not i'll put the site theyre being sold from.

#2 Search either the "Event/Band Name", "Venue", "State" or "Date". These will help you to narrow down what gig you want to go see. Whether you have one in mind or just want to browse all the gigs going on.

#3 Once you have found the gig you want to go to, click "Find Tickets". This will direct you to another page which will allow you to reserve tickets.

#4 Select how many tickets you would like to buy and click "Reserve Tickets".

#5 Next it will ask you to comfirm the reservation. It will show you a summary of how many tickets and how much. Once this is all ok, click "Continue".

6# At this stage you will need to sign in, if you do not have an account it will allow you the option to create an account.

7# Next you will have to fill out your billing details. If you have previously purchased tickets it will automatically appear.

8# Then once thats all filled out and correct select "continue". It will then ask for bank details, once again you will need to fill this out and select "continue".

9# Now we are at the end and you will be show a recipt and the tickets will be emailed or posted to you depending on the option you selected.

With these easy steps you can be perchasing tickets in a heart beat whenever you want.
